Along the way, you’ll come across Montiano, a village offering unique panoramic views—perfect for a photo stop. The route continues toward Maiano Lavacchio, a place that invites reflection and historical remembrance, and also represents the most challenging stretch of the itinerary. After tackling the final climbs, the route descends gently toward the Scansanese provincial road to return to Istia.
